Whatever we do in our homes, we can do it our workplaces too! Encourage your work to consider the environment, waste minimisation and the power of consumer decisions when buying office consumables, employing contractors, catering for events… Once the idea is in everyone’s mind that it is possible to actively make good decisions for the environment, who knows what ideas people will come up with to make a difference?

It’s Yorkshire Day, celebrated annually on August 1st And England have won the Test Match, so that’s very fitting! It’s a muggy and humid afternoon here in god’s own country, with heavy greying sky promising rain over the lovely valley of Hebden Bridge, but not delivering (please, rain, come soon, it’s too muggy for me!). I would have made scones but it is too hot to put the oven on!
